For the food and wine connoisseurs, the Constantia Wineries like Beau Constantia, Constantia Glen, Eagle's Nest and Groot and Klein Constantia are a short 10 mins drive and offer wonderful food and great views to go with their fine wines. There are numerous walks, hiking trails and biking trails, for all levels, and many of them start in the vicinity of Kirstenbosch. For the golfers there are a number of courses within easy reach.
